In 2007, I watched Debenham FC (a village team) play AFC Wimbledon in a FA Cup game, obviously the visitors won the game.
Town finished 8th in The Championship that season while AFC Wimbledon gained promotion in 3rd place of The Isthmian Premier League.
That is food for though? as our once proud club battled out a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.
Something is really wrong?
On Monday at Playford Road, I watched an excellent U23 game, played at pace, despite unhelpful weather, our Town team gained a 2-2 against current league leaders Watford.
There was a clear pattern of play, each Town player moving, working for each other, attacking, and most of all prepared to SHOOT.
