These are all brilliant.

I agree with you on Elite (playing it on a b&w crt, early eighties) - what a pioneering title. I've played Eve for years but was always looking for a bit more. Then I found it.....No Mans Sky.....what a masterpiece. I don't know if you still play games or not but give it a look.

British game too, although the studio got a lot of criticism for overpromising.

Mainly solved now and added a lot of content without asking for any more money which is rare these days.

There was a hack on Elite whereby you could leave the "mothership" turn around and go back, buy/sell some mineral or another and repeat for a couple of hours, to build up your bank balance.

Funny the things you remember >30yrs later.

They got a hammering when it was released - however persistence pays off. I deliberately avoided it and only bought it 3 weeks ago........I don't regret it......the game is amazing and everything I wanted Elite to be now exists. No loading screens is just amazing.

To be fair you can do something like that in NMS. I can remember Lave and the fact I couldn't dock much :-)
