Great to see him bring his club form to the national stage.

Impressive performance!!

I'm struggling to think of any footballer, Jonas aside, that has had more unwarranted stick than Raheem Sterling. Quality player.

I think the stick he gets is mainly from the following;

1. Being very young and rich.
2. Forcing his move to Man City (got some peoples backs up, but was an understandable move).
3. Frustration from England fans that his club form never really translated to England form.

Handles himself well, and seems to have a good attitude. I don't think he gets a lot of stick anymore.

Agree to differ.

John Terry, Wayne Rooney, David Beckham got plenty of hatred. They weren't black last time I looked.

Terry got stick for being a racist. Beckham was a darling aside from the very immediate aftermath of his red card in the World Cup. Rooney's performances were questioned at times but nothing like what Sterling has had. You're totally blind to any form of prejudice in the way only a white male can be.

Are you really comparing the stick Sterling has received from the national press and thousands of keyboard warriors, to the mild tutting from a handful of numpties at Portman Road and a few keyboard warriors on here?

I'm most concerned about his socially irresponsible tattoos. He's pushing the growing gun culture on our children. How can we allow this?
