Today’s game underlined why we needed a change 22:47 - Jul 28 with 977 viewsBlackboots

If it had still been MM in charge the crowd would have been around 10,000. Conceding a goal after 2 minutes would have killed any pre-season optimism and the moaning would have started. A defeat, even a narrow, slightly unlucky one like we experienced today would have seen the majority of fans focusing on the negatives rather than the positives of the performance.

If Hurst can keep us up with a team that plays passing, attacking football I’ll be happy. I just want to enjoy my Saturday afternoons at PR again and based on what I saw today that seems far more likely than it did a year ago.
