My mum came home one Saturday in 1972 with a comic called the Mighty World of Marvel. We didn't know at the time that these black and white stories were reprinted from American colour comics from ten years before.
I now have a full run of Amazing Spiderman from 1963 onwards, pretty much a full run of the X-Men from #3 onwards and a complete run of the Avengers from #1 onwards. Plus assorted other titles. All bagged and boxed.
Stan Lee is up there with Sir Bobby as being a big part of my childhood.
