Listened to the Colin Murray 'At Home Podcast' with Steve McClaren today to try to get an idea of what the bloke is like and how he thinks.
The one thing he was very sure of was that he wants to manage in the Premier League but would do this via a 'progressive' Championship club. From this I am fairly sure that there is only one way that he would take on the Ipswich job and that is with a concrete assurance of adequate funding to ensure promotion.
I'm, personally, not sure if the present Owner would be able to convince him of the Club's present intention to supply this. |  |
