Most goals scored in the Championship (92).

Finished on 96 points, just 1 point behind Leics in 1st, & 6 points ahead of Leeds, with all their £squillions.

23 points ahead of scum :)

Fewest defeats. Goal of the season. Manager of the season. It’s been okay, hasn’t it?

Is this a bit like last year where plymouth finished top but our stats were better?

Ridiculous. This might never sink in properly. Well done lads.

It still annoys me slightly that Plymouth pipped us to the League last season & managed a win & a draw against us, as I was convinced that we were a much better side than them. I think we've now proved that!

Goals scored excluding penalties.

Ipswich 90
Southampton 83
Leicester 77
Leeds 74

Stunning stats.

Norwich finished as close to the relegation places as they did to us. 23 points away from both.

But we still only managed a draw & a loss against them!

that is crazy, for the top scorers to only have 2 penalties (can't remember how many we missed!) is evidence of the dice stacked against us, what a team!

A random one I heard the other day is that we needed 2 goals to become the joint ever home scorers in a Champ season with Reading - something we achieved today.

When you look at where the two teams that went up with us finished - 20th & 21st, both only narrowly avoiding going straight back down by 3 points & 1 point respectively, it really makes our own achievement even more gobsmacking.

We finished 43 points above Wednesday, and 45 above Argyle!

I believe we still hold the First Division Curly Wurly record from 1984/85 as well.

Even more amazing considering Curly Wurlys were 8ft long back then

Yep. Summed up perfectly by Hutchinson's deflected off the keeper goal that clinched it.
