Spot on.

The idea that losing the play offs would see the season turn to dust I get but there is also a trajectory thing. For Leeds, Leicester and Southampton, that would be very much a downward trajectory and the need to balance books. For us, this season has been progress whatever the outcome and as disappointing as failing in the play offs would be, I am confident we have a platform to improve next season.
