Just went down a rabbit hole & discovered Ralph Coates scored the only goal for Tottenham v Nodge in a league cup final of the early '70's

It triggered a memory, so I googled more & it turns out he worked at GEC/Marconi in Borehamwood & it's sports/social club

That was my first job when I left school & I've also played footy at the sports & social club!
If I'd have known, I'd have sought him out & shook his hand for nothing other than scoring a Wembley winner v that lot!
