Labour ‘flat-lining’ in latest You Gov poll 😉 10:49 - Jan 25 with 7920 views | ElderGrizzly | Still only a 27 point lead with Reform’s 13% likely to deliver just 2 MPs for Tice but lose the Tories 200. Oh well :)

Labour ‘flat-lining’ in latest You Gov poll 😉 on 16:31 - Feb 2 by redrickstuhaart | Most of that is nonsense. An "independent state prosecutor"? Do you mean the CPS and DPP? We have press regulation. We have a constitution. None of these things are fundamental problems for hte country at the moment. Id go with PR, on balance, but thats a referendum job and would not have got through. If you look at what practically other democracy has, you'll find it isn't nonsense at all. The CPS are not prosecutors in state matters, the Met Police is all we have, sadly. What we have now and have had to put up with for decades, that is nonsense.

What are you talking about? "A prosecutor in state matters", means what?

Which the CPS can and do do. Save for parliamentry convention type matters, which are dealt with by parliament because they are not crimes. What is your model for all this? [Post edited 2 Feb 17:51]

Excellent answer. Obfuscate and run away! It is of course completely correct. Night | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Labour ‘flat-lining’ in latest You Gov poll 😉 on 13:20 - Feb 2 by DJR | That's my view, and has been for a long time. If you can't set the agenda when Labour are so far ahead in the polls, and rather than lead you follow focus groups, it augurs badly for being in government when (as will inevitably be the case) you encounter choppy waters. And even as committed a Blairite as John McTernan (Blair's political secretary in No.10) is not happy.

When you see the lengths that Blue Labour went to in it's quest to take its party back it should come as no surprise. They believe in nothing.
