Morsy and 'the whistle' 19:19 - Dec 9 with 1433 viewsReusersTown

I know it's a yellow card, so unlikely to be possible, but any chance of an appeal based on the crowd whistling acknowledged by McKenna in his post match?

The whistle was why Omari paused and looked at the lino before coolly slotting it away.

The ref blew his whistle for a foul, and then reportedly showed Morsy a yellow card for throwing the ball away.

That isn't what happened, Morsy continued to play and passed the ball about half a second after the whistle had gone with a number of Boro players nearby. Which he may be in his rights to do so if there were doubts over the whistle.

All true, but you can't appeal yellows.
