Of course.

Pro-Palestinian organisations and supporters have been demonised and silenced over the escalating occupation and oppression for decades. But it’s been ramped up over the last 10 years and particularly online.

With the Hamas massacre now being used by the Israeli state to justify an escalation of the underlying injustice on the ground, it seems that it’s also justifying increasingly cranky and absolutist reactions towards those overseas and in Israel who defend an oppressed Palestinian people ... all of which is light years away from defending Hamas or indeed condoning violence of any kind against Israelis but these are the labels now used to marginalise and dismiss protests against what amounts to nothing less than apartheid.

We can and should express solidarity with the Israeli and Palestine civilians. Anyone trying to silence one half of that while claiming the other side has forfeited their rights is part of the problem.

The Guardian didn't renew Bell's contract, only those with Pro-Netanyahu views saw the cartoon as antisemitic. But it quite clearly was anti-Netanyahu.

None of which has much to do with that Guardian article, perhaps you haven't read it ?

Yeah I read it and agree with it. Just wasn’t sure why they treated Bell like that.
