Gutting, really hope it's not as serious as it looked. We will obviously miss him, but time for Hutch and Jackson to fill that gap, with Aluko a good option off the bench.

I wondered, looking at the still photo posted in the TWTD news report, the way Wes is carrying himself, & what looks like possible strapping on his lower arm, whether it might actually be an arm or wrist problem (sprain or fracture) rather than shoulder? No doubt we'll know soon enough though.

GWS Wes!

Tyler Hamilton crashed and broke his collerbone on the first stage of the 2003 Tour de France. He continued riding in the race and was able to follow and attack Armstrong up Alpe d'Huez on stage 8. Later, he rode one of the Tour's most memorable feats, winning stage 16 with a 142 km solo breakaway, gaining two minutes over the field. For his stage win, Hamilton was awarded the Coeur de Lion prize (French for Heart of the Lion, the name of the cheese maker that sponsored the award), as the most daring racer of the stage. He finished 4th overall in the race.
