Risky in what sense? We now have hutchinson so he would just be upgrade for edwards if comes off personally we need a centre back and maybe another striker

I'm sure Ashton has more insight into Palace's intentions for him than you or I. And in that area of the pitch, our squad is at a point now where we can afford to wait for the right player rather than desperately needing to just get someone.
