A non Ipswich one which came to mind for me and someone I'd have loved to have seen play for us in his prime is Matt Jansen from Blackburn.

Again, its not how many games. It's the impact an injury or injuries had on their ability and how good they could have been/what they might of achieved without them.
How many games has Mcgoldrick played? How many did Michael Owen play? The number is irrelevant if the injures impact ability and what they could have done in the game had they not occurred IE won more, played at higher level etc. | |
