I've come the conclusion he has to start. He needs to get into games. When he starts his hold up play is much better - he controlls the ball better and he scores more.

When he comes on as a sub he looks out of touch and never really seems to get into games.

I also feel when he comes off the team doesn't really know what to do. His hold up play is so key to what we do - and we have nbody capable of playing that killer pass into Jackson to run onto - especially if the opposition play deep.

I think a lot of the negative views on him would have begun to shift if his had been the last goal at Charlton. He has the best xG in the League and now he's finishing more of his chances will continue to get the goals
