The only reason Judge will not feature again is because if he makes one more appearance he triggers a years extension on his contract.
It doesn't mean he won't be here next year as nothing to stop him being offered, and accepting, a new contract on a reduced salary.

Been looking through the number of appearances the players have made this year, and Freddie is sitting on 24 (in the league), so maybe 25 might trigger an extension for him. None of the other obvious suspects I was looking at were on a number that was just below the sort of ‘round number’ that would be likely to be set as a trigger. |  |
