It's a great record. I think he is exactly what is needed.
He has turned fortunes of nearly all clubs he has been at, and that's with clubs having problems as well. i.e. not easy jobs.
It could almost be said the the season with Wigan that ended in relegation was his most impressive as their form was fantastic at the end and without the points deduction would have survived easily.
Much prefer him over Cowleys who have really only shown one way of success and one club...Cook is more proven.
I honestly don't know what problem anyone could have with that record. All I want is a manager who consistently improves the first team and that's seemingly what he does.
