To me, football should be entertaining and exciting to watch, thats the football Ipswich Town played when I fell in love with them many years ago. If you are not true to your own identity, who are you then?
It's definetly not just a matter of money, if that's the case then we have everything in place to continue to be mediocre for a long time. It's mainly a matter of how the club is being run from a leadership perspective top -> down. Today it is non existing and especially non inspiring and that starts and ends with Marcus Evans. Leadership is the single most important thing and what will make us able to find our path once again and punch above our weight in the long run.
You can put someone bad in a great environment and they will have the foundation to turn out great in the end. But you can't put someone good in a bad environment and expect great results.. |  |
