But in reality, 2 very similar teams. Both slow and ponderous, awful football on the whole.

Sunderland are extremely average and that we looked slightly better than them before the refs intervention is nothing to shout about. We will not get out of this league with Paul Lambert, at best we will keep beating the rubbish sides, sneak in the playoffs, then lose to anyone half decent. There are good players in this squad, but tactically we are awful. Until Lambert goes there is barely anything to be positive about.

We've seen slow and ponderous from us, that was far from it. We were the much better team from the 25 minute mark onwards.

Other than the goal, we created 1 real decent chance against an awful Sunderland side?

Absolute rubbish, we were much the better team we've been cost 3 points by the referee there no doubts about it.

Created hardly anything? Great keeping the ballast the back and playing nice football in midfield with the undoubted talent we have, but the game is about creating chances and scoring goals.

They were anything but awful first half. The moved the ball well and had more luck getting it to stick up front than we did.

Poll: Pick a goal to win the derby in stoppage time...

Sunderland as one of the better teams in the league (with the best defensive record) were not in the game at all, i appreciate Jacksons hold up was not the best but we were clearly on top and the game was only going one way. First half we stood off them a bit (and they still created very little) but second half we were pressing and on the front foot, and should have come away with a massive confidence boosting win. I fully blame the referee for the result.

I thought we were going on to win it.
