Excel Extrordinaire Experts Explanation Expected.. 11:27 - Feb 28 with 789 views | Meadowlark | OK. Here's a question for you Excel superusers. (See Really obvious stuff thread) I have columns of calculations based upon daily readings. How do I make future days' SUMs show as blank cells until I have entered the readings? Currently, these cells for tomorrow, the day after, etc are populated with random numbers based upon constants and other factors in the calculations. The daily readings cells are obviously blank until they are entered. I'm not a professional Excel user so please make it easy... | | | | |

Otherwise it will show the calculation. It may be commas or semicolons in Excel, I can't remember. [Post edited 28 Feb 2020 11:53]

Thanks. I'll give it a try. This seems to work. =IF(OR(ISBLANK(INPUT cell),ISBLANK(input cell)),"",(calculation)) [Post edited 28 Feb 2020 16:13]
