And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Yes, quite.

I have to admit I did wonder if he'd get away with it if I'm honest.

Glad my lack of faith was misguided.

The way some of those lawyers questioned the ladies in question was awful. You can see why so many victims find it difficult to speak up when that's what you're faced with. But yes, you're right- happy that some small amount of justice has been done.

Put him in a remote barn and cut him. The rats will come and eat him alive. Failing that, let the families and friends have him.

I hope he doesn't meet that same fate an Epstein.

Let's hope, pray, do everything we can to get him in a cell with a bull of a man who loves older men!

He needs to be run through daily for what he has done.

Suffer you cretinous turd....(and yes I am angry).....

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

I've already seen comments online suggesting he didn't get a fair trial.

Someone else said his behaviour was 'dubious' but it's not the court's job to judge on morality.

I hope these people didn't breed.

Get ovwer yourself - you are not posting on the Mail now.

How ever despicable his behaviour was - it amounted to the 'casting couch' and smacks more of the industry and society wanting to be seen to do the 'right thing' than any acknowledgement of how things have been since it's beginning, and most likely before in performance work.

Regarding the 'casting couch' scenario, that seems to suggest some kind of compliance.

Some of his victims suffered full-on rape.

It's there in the second link.

Maybe that was not the expression to use, though my thought still remains.

Weinstein was a bully and a sexual predator who used his postion to carry out such acts.

However it was in the context of that type of climate within the industry and my comment was aimed at the hypoceisy now being shown rather than any attempt to defend Weinstein's attacks, and attitude.

And if he has any assets that have not been 'secreted' away then let them be used to fund work in this area to protect the more vunerable to end the culture of offending.
