Amazing how much better he looks when not being asked to play on the left of the back three. He's a solid, no nonsense defender and now he can concentrate on that he's playing very well.

I didn't know quite what to make of him. He made some excellent tackles, that one in the penalty area when they broke was superb, but the number of hopeless sliced clearances he made that put us back under pressure was a definite minus point.

Tend to agree just as he was worrying me he came up with a great challenge ! Better on the right as someone else has said but same for all our CB 's although we have it right at the moment with young Woofie copeing better than the other two .

That was a very timely challenge and could well have saved us the additional two points. He had a poor five or ten minutes in possession though shanking the ball up in the air when it should have gone dead or playing it out. Other than that, pretty solid.
