I saw Culverhouse signed a new deal earlier in the week, so clearly building for the long term. Haven’t heard great things about the chairman though (through work, I knew there ex manager).

Yeah York were the last remaining unbeaten team in all comps in the top 6 leagues. But then the wheels fell off a bit, they lost in the FA Cup and Trophy in consecutive weeks. Their league form has wobbled too

York will have taken a fair few. My two uncles and cousin went, bloody mad for a regional leagues game.

” I could’ve sworn York were a good few points ahead earlier in the season” Kings Lynn have been on a very good run since getting a bit of a lesson early in the season against Guiseley. I’ve been following them quite closely as a family friend joined them this season.

Although King's Lynn isn't the biggest town they have a large catchment area with no other Football League clubs. Boston are similar. I can't see Stowmarket managing to pull in big crowds. Even when they got to the Conference North, Lowestoft were still only getting 6-700.

You realise Stowmarket now has a population of 23-24,000, right?

Racism from people who live in the most interbred town in the area? I’ve just fallen off my chair. [Post edited 20 Jan 2020 8:07]

Indeed. Used to be a twitter page called ‘Lynn Ultras’. I think it was run by 3/4 young lads and they racially abused one of their own players last season (I think just the one person got banned though).

Considering Kings Lynn is further north than Leicester and Birmingham, it's hardly a surprise they are in the Northern league.

Depends on who is in the league - Lowestoft were right on the cusp and Hereford dropping out of the league meant they went North and just couldn't compete as the costs were so much higher as much more travelling.

Nothing is ever solely down to the manager but he is the one that gets the credit or the blame - and Lambert clearly did a cracking job at Norwich

Agreed ... but Culverhouse was the one that put the jigsaw together on the pitch and took the training , Lambert has been rather lost without him since their fallout at Villa , and yes thus far is almost there with us , let’s hope he keeps up the positives of post Xmas going till the end ....COYBs.
