Fortunately people will just dutifully forget things like this, the Cambridge Analytica/Vote Leave scandal etc. It's amazing what people will forget when the nation's media isn't reminding them.

Mm, the problem with that is they have zero relationship with "the nation's media". The same media that quite likes Boris and isn't particularly interested in showing him up anyway.

Has Bojo released that report about Russian interference yet? on 18:17 - Jan 15 with 1427 views | HARRY10 | " As early as September 27, it was announced that the Greater London Authority had asked the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) to assess whether the prime minister should be formally investigated over potential misconduct in public office as regards his dealings with Jennifer Arcuri when mayor of London. Then, early in the electoral campaign - almost six weeks later - the IOPC made an incredible move: to put off until after the election their decision to investigate Johnson at all. The IOPC's time was up three weeks ago: Why have we still not been told? And what about the Intelligence and Security Committee's report on alleged Russian influence in British politics which Johnson hid from public scrutiny throughout the same election campaign? If only the opposition parties had chance to ask questions of the government publicly. We should lobby for a forum like that and hold it regularly. We could call it ‘ask the PM questions monthly’....or similar. Maybe it should be even more frequent.

They'll release it to a fanfare though claiming it's proof that nothing went on, and idiots will fall for it. And that'll be the end of sweeping that under the carpet.

Why do you think it wasn't released before the election then? That would have made all the doubters look very silly wouldn't it, and been another feather in BJ's cap. Unless he's not being entirely honest now?

How do you know? Have you seen it? Dominic Grieve who was the chair of the committee, so who definitely does know what is in it, has said that it contained facts "germane to voters" [Post edited 16 Jan 2020 10:49]

I doubt very much, as with Hillsborough and numerous other cases there will be people willing to hammer away until the truth is known The concern is how voters respond, as the past few years has shown that not only are a fair few million not bothered that certain politicians lie, but that they embrace those lies.
