In todays market I wouldn't accept anything less if I were Evans.

I'd take £8m and a loan back.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

A loan back would rather defeat the object of SheffU buying him, as an option/cover at CB for their preferred playing style.

Hilarious.

Think that's more acceptable. £3m is paltry.

I still honestly think its way too low. £10 Million i will understand. If not i would hold onto him. If we are back in the camp next season By Jan next year you double what we get now at the very least.

I really do think it has to be serious money to sell him now. He's only going to go up in value.

Poll: Genuine answers please on what you would choose next season!

£10m? On what basis is he worth £10m? I think £5m up front is at the steep end of his current value to be honest. I don't think £3m is far away from his current value, not that I'd want us to sell at that price.

People are way out. If a club like Sheffield United go out and spend £10m on a kid in the 3rd tier people will laugh themselves stupid and think Wilder has done a Burley.

If they really want him they could force him away for half that and offer incentives etc. we just can't say no to.

Another reason why "relegation will be brilliant" is forever the cri de Coeur of the jizzwand.

Do have half a mind that we may have leaked this bid to try to smoke any other clubs out to try to get the fee up a bit though. 3m is a bit light.

Think it came from up here actually. But regardless, it'll just reaffirm Evans is happy running a mid level 3rd tier club these days until he can shift it or gets as bored of Shrewsbury and Posh as Preston or Derby.

If ME is serious about an immediate return to the Championship, no players should be sold
