The trouble is that whilst the shrinking is happening more slowly in this case (for various reasons) it's still happening but the deniers won't bother about that bit.

They will just point to the prediction being wrong and cite it all as a hoax which is depressing.

I was on one in Chile* three weeks back - they said it was one of only 4 in the world that was growing.

But lots of examples of climate change impacting the environment in Patagonia and all over SA to be honest. They kept on talking about the El Nino thing which used to be like 1 in 20 years and is now more common than not. Is causing havoc for local farmers for all sorts of reasons.

Loved the story from years ago when Al Nino, resident of LA, kept getting phone calls from people blaming him for the weather.
