Poll: Why can't/don't we protest like the French do? 🤔

Then they (as in Cummings) outed the whistleblower as gay in the press. The whistleblower is a young Muslim, and his family didn't know. Classy.

TWTD CP. Evans Out.
Poll: Neil Young or Lynyrd Skynyrd - there is no middle ground.

Wow, even for them that's absolutely shocking. Was it some weird attempt to discredit him?

Yeah. He was in a relationship with someone else senior in Vote Leave, but they still went with it.

Apparently the BBC were going to run a story about the overspending thing on Panorama, but the senior editors cancelled it. Then they didn't contact the whistleblower for an interview etc. So essentially he's been blacklisted in the press, with one journalist referring to it as a "lovers' spat".

Absolutely disgraceful, & v. cowardly by the Beeb. Surprised ch4 haven't gone for it, thought they at least had some balls.

Absolutely. It does make you wonder how much interest the "mainstream media" has in critiquing the government. Well, I go past wondering personally, but yes.

Many people, incl on here, dislike and/or scoff at twitter, but this clip being tweeted by David Lammy MP (578.5K followers) means it's rippled out into huge coverage - 1.3K retweets, 2.9K 'likes', probably a million+ views. It's clearly a very important & useful platform, esp now that so many serious people (MPs, other politicians etc. under their real names) use it for issues such as this, which are swerved by msm for whatever reasons.
