Yet another manager has got the sack, Reading have parted company with Jose Gomes after less than a year.âš½

The icing on the cake for this season would be swapping places with that awful excuse for a football team...

Reading are just rubbish aren't they?

A nothing team who've achieved nothing, playing in a bland stadium.
That we nearly always bloody lose at.
Norwich for the home counties set.

Have you ever been to Reading for the footy? Everything about it is sh1te. Crap link to the stadium, boring pubs, crap food, mise... or wait, you're from Lowestoft, you'd like it.

I'd like to point out that Reading is growing quite a bit.

I enjoy it here, quite a few places that would surprise people...

I don't mind Reading in the general sense but match days always seems miserable, I like some of the pubs a bit further out from the Stadium.

Fair. I still swear that it's better to do a little pub crawl around Caversham then uber it to the ground. Much better experience...

Thats a shame - would love to see them relegated. I have an irrational dislike for a team that is one of my most local.

I wouldn't say irrational at all. If any thing I would say you're the most rational so far

It's not irrational. I'm the same as you in the local sense.

I just find their fans monumental, Chelsea-second-team cock wombles who I have to put up with on a regular occurrence...

I've never really been able to quite place why i dislike them so much. Throughout my childhood they were my most local team, and still are one of the most local. As BlueBadger says, they are just a nothing team.

I'm just appalled that they haven't advertised an open-top bus patrade to celebrate winning the last 5 minutes.

Last season's game at FPR sealed the deal with them as far as I'm concerned. Oliveiras shenanigans didn't help but their supporters were obnoxious. And they're as boring a club as you'll find overall

MIne too. I have much more respect for my other "locals" (Southampton and, especially, Portsmouth) than for "that lot" just up the road.

I quite liked Reading until they moved into an out of town stadium. While the viewing is good, it's a pain to get to and an even bigger pain to get away from.Away days should be experiences to be savoured, rather than going in and out as part of a guerilla movement.
