4-4-2 Magazine had Chris Kiwomya as the second or actual quickest footballer if Im correct, 10.8 seconds for 100 metres.. Neil Thompsona lmost won the longest throw in. Glenn Pennyfather won the slowest turning time, but still smashed Douglas out the park

Ted Phillips used to the thump the ball from anywhere from about 35 yards, heavier footballs then too.

Would imagine that the club would have all the 60m times recorded somewhere. It would be quite important so perhaps Phil could find out. Even in rugby we would be regularly timed over 60m. I can remember going to Sandy Park at the end of my playing days and quite jealous as they have a full indoor 60m track under the main stand. It's a key fitness definer. | |
