Considering eyebrows were raised quite considerably when he signed. I think Wilson has turned out to be a successful edition to the squad. Certainly done enough to deserve to a longer stay.

Very good again today, Impressive signing.

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?

Lambert now has my trust he can pick a player.
I recall we had 2 centre backs here on trial. Where did the other one go?
Lots of people on here preferred the other from what I recall.

Anyway lambert is gaining my trust. Hopefully ME is on the wave length

Anyone know if the other player we had at the time got a contract somewhere else?

I think PL said he didn't have much of a pre-season she catching up sharpness wise I think he has done well and Toto is going to have to work hard (stopping the bloopers he is prone to) if he plans to shift him

Good piece of work signing him, I hope they extend his contract

We have a half-decent team to be fair.

Last year the rot had set in and when that happens it pretty much doesn't matter who you chuck in there, when it's done it's done.

I wrongly [perhaps] was one of those who argued with those who said a short, sharp break down here might not be the end of the world.

Of course on many levels it was a negative occurrence, but hopefully we'll steam back up, and importantly keep the momentum going at least for a season as we've seen with other clubs.

Jon Guthrie signed for Livingston. To be fair, Wilson always a had a better pedigree than 'left Lincoln by mutual consent' suggested. Was in the Sheffield United squad which got promoted from League One and has won a cap with Wales.

Any rumblings if there's any plans to extend his deal Phil?

Not heard anything but not impossible that there might have been discussions.

Well if we don’t hurry up, the way he’s going he’ll be getting a move to the Prem in January.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Hear hear. An excellent signing as I said earlier today. From no club to where he is now is a tiny bit Roy of the Rovers. Really happy for him.

This was supposed to be in reply to the OP.

I think the key is we're able to give game time to some of our yougsters which they probably wouldn't have got in the Championship. This, alongside the momentum and confidence that a promotion winning season would bring, should see us perform considerably better next time round.

Trouble is, he has a toblerone head from what I saw of him against Wimbledon.

In 4 out of 29 he heads it straight.

I used to love Toblerone.

The only problem was eating it from the fridge.

Do you remember? If you approached it side on it could break your teeth, but if you tired it head on it would stab you in the roof of the mouth.

Went on a field trip to Norfolk Broads once, someone clouted a classmate with a toblerone and they needed stitches.

I heard he was on around 23k with us. We paid all of his Huddersfield wages.

I believe Sereni is still our highest paid player, 30k a week. Finidi was on something similar.

Quanar was on loan. Lambert has a limited choice of strikers to save us from relegation.

Judge lambert on his permanent signings

Why would Bluefish do that, when he can come on here and have a moan. It is so tiresome

The only way to eat Toblerone is to melt it down in a saucepan first.

I wasn't unhappy, but viewed him purely as getting anyone in the door to provide essential early season cover.

In reality he has looked a more than capable CB for us.

I once got caught the wrong side of a creek in far north Queensland in the wet (season), but fortunately I was able to construct a cantilever bridge from spare bars of Toblerone I had lying about, and escape just in time to see Nowrich win a major trophy.
