kebab recommendation 12:31 - Sep 10 with 3619 views | BarcaBlue | I'm popping over this weekend for the Donny match with my son and would welcome any suggestions where to get a good kebab after the match. Bit of a guilty pleasure and want to show the boy that the salad doesn't need to be cooked together with the meat which happens in all the kebab places here.
kebab recommendation on 12:48 - Sep 10 with 3569 views | Sarge | I like my local one, Quality Kebab on Meredith Road but it’s quite a way from the town centre. In the good old days before this board got taken over somewhat, people used to rave about California Grill on Spring Road but I’ve never tried it.
kebab recommendation on 12:49 - Sep 10 with 3561 views | MrTown | A takeaway shop or a sit down? I think the Kebab shops either side of Revs are good. Mahzen if you want a sit down meal

kebab recommendation on 12:52 - Sep 10 with 3548 views | dickie | I'd recommend Ararat or Turkish Delight on Norwich Road - you can either sit in or takeaway (or pop in to the Brewers with it!)

Ever since Lucan and RKD left the quality and quantity of the food threads has plummeted. Same with Mr Bloo although he was a bellend so good riddance. That said he’d probably seem quite moderate on here now!

LL and RKD were indisputably top notch fellas, but I still don't see who has taken over the board.

Spruce has a theory that it's the United Thread Viewers Association. They're a shady bunch... but I best not say much more for fear of being disappeared...

I'd possibly go either side of Revolutions in the town centre then. Having said that.... I have only ever had them p*ssed as a fart after a night out and they always taste better then

The meat is cooked on the spit thing then put in a pitta envelope. They then add the salad and put it in a breville sandwich maker for a few minutes so the salad gets warmed up, the lettuce is half cooked and it's just not right.

That sounds incredible. Properly cooked lettuce is one of life’s great treats.

As a veggie im clearly not the person to answer this thread. However, my old housemate used to have a kebab every week when he had imbibed large amounts of larger. On the way back from Brighton he decided to stop off for a kebab. The meat was pink and raw and despite my proteststions he ate it. 12 hours later I arrived home from work to find him looking pathetic with the sick bucket and being attended by his girlfriend. She had placed scented candles around him to try and supress the stench that was also coming from the other end. Always told him he should have married that girl.

The one and only time I tried a kebab (on my wife’s insistence, before we were wed) I ended up in pretty much the same situation, less the candles.
