Tories putting forward a vote of no confidence in themselves?! on 11:55 - Sep 6 by BrixtonBlue

I thought you said the other day that Corbyn has asked for a General Election every day for the last 4 years?

Two years. And he has.

Corbyn ever day for the last two years “the public has no confidence in the government. We demand a general election”

Boris this week “ok let’s have a general election”

Corbyn “yes but no but yes but.....”

Well no, he hasn't demanded an election every day for 2 years. That's just silly.

And it's obvious why he's holding back right now in any case. It's a very obvious trap.

Should the 27 offer an extension longer than three months Johnson could veto that, if the EU then said no to three months we end up leaving without a deal.

Or with the May deal … or not at all.

A lot depends on who is actually in charge because Johnson doesn't appear to be.

It is not "yes but no but yes but …" though is it?

It is "yes fine … after we have dealt with Brexit as you very clearly and obviously are using the attempt at a election to force your own way through."
