I could hear the home crowd cheering the goals walking down Spring Road, at the Arcade street tavern you could hear most of the crowd reaction to match incidents,even some of the songs, so knew we'd scored the 3rd even before the alert came on the phone , I doubt that was 616 people making that kind of noise cheering the opposition :) |  | | |

It’s the same old issue. The away fans can’t hear us and we can’t hear them.
The away fans’ noise gets transmitted to the upper west stand and players dug out.

I heard a couple of weak "2-0 up and you still don't sing" which perhaps is another example of the poor acoustics of the renovated North Stand but that was it. Maybe they were having a whale of a time in the visitor's area but barely any of it made it to the other end of the ground. | |

Was in the Shrews end and apart from the goals it was difficult to make out much noise from Ipswich fans. I think this is because the Cobbold stand has a low roof and any noise the Shrews were making seemed louder.
The SIr Alf stand was quiet which also gave the impression that the town fans were not singing.
Was funny at the end when the SIr Alf fans were taking the piss out of ‘bizzy’ (legend Shrews fan not missed a game in 27 years) who was throwing his arms up in disgust at every Kettle decision |  |
