Over a month without a home game during the middle of the season 17:12 - Aug 28 with 1105 views

Has that ever happened to us before?

I assume it must have around January / February time with postponements once upon a time, but strange to look at the fixtures and see we host Rotherham on 22 October and then are not at home until 23 November against Blackpool.

Obviously we could have an FA Cup tie down here depending on the draw, but seems incredibly odd to have three league away games on the spin, four in total with the FLT, perhaps even 5 if drawn away in the cup.

If the home game with Wycombe at the start of October is called off for internationals we could even have one home game in two months!

And that is a mid week fixture. Potentially eight weeks between Saturday home league games.

In the very bad winter of 1963 there were no home game played between 21st December 1962 and March 2nd 1963 and only four away games in that time, two of them F.A. Cup ties.
The league season finally finished for us on May 21st.

You could argue that later in the season from near the end of March to near the end of April we have 4 out of 5 games at home
