Best left foot since Muhren? 18:52 - Aug 14 with 1323 views | midastouch | Remember Thompson's lovely free kick here back in 95 against Pompey? see here:
therein61 was saying over in the comments section that he thinks Luke Garbutt has the best looking left foot he's seen from a Town player in a long time. He said right up with any player we've had since Muhren left. What do you reckon, who's had the sweetest left peg for Town since Muhren left for Old Trafford in 1982? I recall Mark Venus and Neil Thompson as both having very nice left feet but we do seem to have struggled a bit in that department for a while, unless I'm forgetting somebody (which I probably am). Sadly quite a number of the players we've had over the last 10 years are rather forgettable!

Those two were both in the old Team Actix card / board game. Gleghorn was no.2 for Ipswich in that game and his card was £175,000 and Brennan was no.8 in the game and his card was available to buy for £200,000. That's probably more than we would spend on a player now! :-) If I recall the most expensive player in that old game was Clive Allen for Spurs who was the only player in the game for £1 million, oh how times have changed!

| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

Harbey from Derby. Terrible liability of a left back. Veno was brilliant. That sweet left peg of his always set him apart from the rugged no nonsense defending of Mowbray and McGreal. A back three we can only dream of now.
