Arsenal actually made a huge signing 21:33 - Aug 1 with 754 viewswkj

72m? I bet Wenger must be a bit miffed he didn't get that degree of backing.

Didn't he sign Aubamayang and Lacazette for a combined like £110m? Ozil etc. He made big signings, just not on the frequency of Man City. The market has gone mad this window anyway, £70m is the new £20m.

Wenger seemed happy not to spend most of the time.

Truly impaired.

I read it could be paid over 5 years!

Is it all the fee or is some dependent on certain things? These fees can sometimes be misleading.

Cant see how its any different to any of the Arsenal transfer policies in the last 15 years. Signing a player they don't really need and leaving a big hole in the.middle of their defence. Arsenal fans really are braindead if they think this changes anything in respect to their top 4 prospects.

Crazy isn't it? They outscore most sides in the division and out concede a lot of sides in the division but always seem to sign players aimed at the top end of the pitch.

When was the last time they had a really commanding centre half, or a solid centre back pairing?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
