Jordan Roberts is not good enough 10:10 - Jul 16 with 899 viewsMaySixth

played well on his debut at Reading but didn't really hit those heights with us or Lincoln in League Two.

he would be a decent sub potentially but I worry if we hang on our hat on him starting

hope he proves me wrong

I doubt he will be our starting striker most of the time. That's what Norwood is for.

There are a couple more forwards coming back from injury over the next few months (Sears, Folami). Plus it wouldn't surprise me if we got one more in, perhaps on loan.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Sears in full working order could star in this division. I would imagine that quite a few teams will lack pace in defence.

Squad player as a wide forward with a decent cross on him. I doubt anyone expects him to be a regular starter next season.

Roberts will be backup winger/ backup striker at best.
There will be worse forwards than him in this division.

Poll: Apologies I'm bored. How many signings will we have by Plymouth at home.

He hasn't played in his best position yet. I'd like to see what he can do wide left.

Agreed. I think Sears will be a real asset in League 1 when he returns to fitness.

I think he may well be used wide left again, providing genuine pace down the touchline, then cutting inside to pass or shoot.

I have a feeling that Jordan could be our super sub.
It's just a feeling.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

To be fair he was played as a lone striker which clearly isnt his game.

Given the level we are now at he could do a job for us and given we are not looking like bringing in many more will probably have to!
