It did look bad on the replays. Twisted and opened his knee up. Not dissimilar to Sears, albeit not under any challenge. Hopefully a "tweak" rather than anything more serious.

We have to accept that he will always be a severely injury prone player. We just cannot build a team around such players. Great shame but that is the reality of the situation. Huws could well be exactly the same.

This. He may be fine. We just don't know yet. There is no way at his age anyone can know if he is injury prone. Its just guesswork really. Plenty of young players have issues early in their career as they physically develop faster/slower than others.

If its a serious injury it is terrible news for the lad.

Please read post before replying. Where does write players off come into it? Do you think we should build a team around a player who has never started more than a handful of games in any season?

He turned 23 today. So his injuries to date have primarily been up o age 21 ish rehabbing and coming back last season well.

I think I saw him drive past me on the way to the training ground this morning.

It was 8am which is way earlier than players normally get there so presume treatment,s can or something.

But if it was him, he was driving so that is a positive.

But it may not have been him, looked like a bad one on the replay

Exactly. Aged 23 you need to be an established first team player. Mills said so last season. Good luck to him but don’t expect to build a midfield around him.
