I think highlighting them is a good thing as it shows people who think it's a lifestyle choice humans make that they are wrong and there is plenty of evidence about gay animals.
Completely irrationally, my annoyance here comes from the 'get over it' bit which is a bit pathetic on my part but I cringe every time I see that slogan.
It did amuse me that she compared gay animals to catholic animals. Something we can actually see and be fairly sure of compared to randomly claiming penguins are catholic.
