In the 90's I had long curly and sideburns like Marshall.

Worse was to come, My family are Dutch and my name ends in Beek... Luckily enough the first Beek I can remember playing in the UK (other van Marco Ruitenbeek) was Gus!!

By which time I was in my last year at Uni, with Peroxide long blonde hair.

Burley was not impressed with Gustav's hair do, and the Daily Star printed a headline along the lines of "By George, Burley tells Beek to get his hair sorted"... Unfortunately I no longer have the cutout.. bearing in mind my nickname is Beeky or The Beek I got a load of mates abuse about it!!
