I only heard some of it through the day. It was good to hear some old tunes but a lot of it was pretty mainstream. My favourite labels at the time were moving shadow and reinforced but hardly got a look in. Made me dig out some of the old tunes and still sounds amazing!

I’ve got a pile of those moving shadow collections on cd. Didn’t they use to release them for 99p?
Only just seen this thread. I'll have a think and stick some old school bangers from 96 on. It's not D&B but have this for now. I never thought I'd hear Bernard Matthews on a rave tune

They're blatantly all pilled out of their nuts. everybody's either chewing or gurning. I miss those Ecstacy years, nobody cared about looking like a tit. I'm glad I'm old enough to be about for the tail end of that Rave culture. ***king off to some warehouse that's done up like a club or a field in the middle of nowhere with a converted burger van and a sound system on a flat-bed trailer. Ring up the number and meet in the car park.

Good days. It was the fields that did it for me nothing beat a party in a field with grass under your feet.
I caught a couple of years from Surrey and a few from Beds when jungle was kicking in and Exodus were kicking off.

Last proper banger was Copford Woods just outside Colchester in 2000-1 ish. That was the last in the fields dance until dawn experience I had. "Last year a rave at a farm in Copford drew complaints about noise from six miles away. The event, which between 700 and 1,000 people attended, lasted from 8.30pm on a Saturday until 6.30am the following day. " http://www.mapinc.org/drugnews/v02/n1533/a01.html
