Watched him at Christmas time against Sunderland when he came on as sub. He has lost his spark. A no from me sadly. He was a lovely player in his first loan spell. We’ve had far too many injury prone players. |  | | |

I did see the final, unfortunately he only came on to the pitch on the 71st minute against a tiring Sunderland side, so not a great indicator of what he can do.
I am guessing there is a reason that he didn't play from the start and why Charlton have released him. |  | | |

It's all to do with money why they have released him. He came to them on a deal where Palace paid some of his wage , that's now at an end .
Put simply, they cannot afford him, even after promotion.
A quick Google and u can see that is what Bowyer says, they are hoping he drops his salary , or that no other team comes in for him.
For me he looked really good ,was the same old Johnny at Wembley, but yes he still injury prone.
Too expensive and too injury prone for us to take a chance on in league 1 . |  | | |

I don't think we should sign him either due to his injury record.
