Looking at the list of potential runners and riders for the Tory leadership and thinking that either Jeremy Hunt or Michael Gove would be the best outcome.
Until now we've had someone reluctantly and dutifully driving towards a fucking cliff. The new driver is going to be one of the passengers in the back who've been screaming, and I quote, "YEEEHAWWW BITCHES LET'S FLOOR THIS MOTHERFUCKER" and I am not looking forward to it tbh.
Boris wins. Tories desperate and he's their best chance. The members will elect him in a landslide IMO
I'm beginning to think that this is Alice in Wonderland, we're down the rabbit-hole, and men in white coats will soon be coming to rescue me from from my delusion of reality ...
I don't think there's anyone that i can get behind, the politicians are just so self absorbed and not what is good for the greater need for the country.

Trump will never be the US President, Corbyn will never win the Labour leadership contest, Boris will never be Prime Minister.
We are f*cked.

Oh come on, what's not to like about that lovable, roguish oaf Johnson.

The worrying thing is who will be the last two standing after all the scheming, and back stabbing, by Tory MPs. Remember May was appointed by default and not elected by the party faithful.
Isn't he too sensible (relatively) for the radicalised loons?
I think he is just about right for everyone. Not particularly controversial or interesting, a Leaver, Murdoch's mate, Trump's mate, and in general he is kind of....good? Certainly energetic and tried to do bits at Education and Agriculture. I understand those bits might not be popular, certainly on here. Plus I think he wants to build more Grammar Schools.

Ruth Davidson would have been a good choice. I don't agree with her take on Scotland within the UK which seems based more on optimism than track record. But she seems a decent, thoughtful person and she doesn't seem to be encumbered by ideology or ego. She and her Scottish Conservative colleagues appear to be a different breed from the more radical elements south of the border.
But even putting aside how she could be leader while not an elected MP (presumably she could be put into the House of Lords), the idea of a lesbian mother of a young child voted in to be leader is pure fantasy.
