Goodbye to any hope of reaching the season tickets targets 21:57 - Apr 27 with 931 viewsDinnernotTea

Each and every one of those players have been a spineless mess since our fate was sealed. The total will be less than 10,200 come August.

Are people honestly going to make their decision on the basis of the last two or three games having already witnessed the rest of this season? Clearly this team is not good enough to compete with teams at Championship level, especially those right at the top of it, and the intensity of the performances have understandably dipped since relegation was confirmed, but there will be changes made (who knows yet whether better or worse) over the summer and a lower level of opposition to face next season.

The deadline is 6th May so yes all recent games will have a huge bearing on someone on the fence.

My point is, why would anyone make a decision based just on these games?

I doubt many people will be buying STs on the basis of a few games at the end of a dreadful season.

We won't be facing this opposition. We won't have the same squad. Everyone already knows this team are rubbish (it's not like we're suddenly worse than we have been all season).

People are going to sign up before the Early Bird deadline because 1) they support Ipswich Town, 2) they are excited by the possibilities of next season and 3) they want to be part of the project going forwards.

I'd be more alarmed if the team did suddenly start producing performances and results at this stage, as it would raise the question of why they hadn't done it before.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
