#Brexit.

Have you seen this new television programme, Love Thy Neighbour? Cracking stuff, none of this PC nonsense to be seen. Living in our nation's capital, I find it *very* relatable if you know what I mean...

I have noticed George & Mildred has been on TV, along with Rising Damp.

So I suppose all things are possible.

David.

Please believe me, this is true. I'm going back about 17 years ago. A friend of my Daughters had a son at School, he was about five. He came home one day getting towards Christmas and said he was in the school nativity play. Mum being excited said " Who are you going to be" he replied " One of the three kings" she then asked him which one and he replied " The one with the smelly box"

It was Moses whose Triumph could be heard through out the land

with apologies to any who may not welcome an attempt to lighten things a little

for those still unsure this book is absolute nonsense then I give you

Wears frilly knickers and his sister's bra - in the version I knew.

Went to see Jesus Chris Superstar at the weekend up in Durham. Eldest Oozami was MDing a college theatre group production - it was very good, certainly comparable with a glitzy West End version. Apparently they were only allowed to advertise the show on University property and not in public spaces, one of the conditions applied by the Really Useful Group - however, the production team used that new-fangled thing called social media and it was sold out every night!

Just one small problem; sell their houses to who, Ben? Fcking Aquaman?

I think it is more a case of wanting to stop commercial production companies from using copyright material - otherwise the uni would not have been able to stage the production if it was merely trying to block usage.

JC Superstar has some great songs. Irs one of those shows though that is open to the directors interpretation. Quite often is done with modern twist, mobile phones, dms etc. Personally I prefer it to be done in biblical times. The crucifixion scene can be very moving.

It was done in modern dress with a sparse stage, atmosphere was generated through lighting (which was very good) and music - singing was excellent, and Herod as an escapee from RuPaul's Drag Race was an inspired idea! The leads pitched their performances just right, most don't actually study Music or Theatre, so to get that level of singing and acting was a real feat by the Director and MD!
