Skuse 13:09 - Jan 10 with 823 views | uefacup81 | Really hope he's back on Saturday - I think a lot of fans underestimate how much we miss him when he's out. It always seems, to me at least, that his absences tend to coincide with runs of poor results. I reckon we'd have picked up a few more points over the festive period with him in the team. Skuse on 14:00 - Jan 10 with 657 views | JammyDodgerrr | This is known as the 'Skuse effect'. He's valuable to our team but the majority see him as a waste of space, and we always are worse without him.

Even under McCarthy I seem to recall we played less well without him in the side. Granted a lot of our recent matches we probably wouldn't have won regardless, but I think there's an argument that his presence would have made a difference against Accrington and Millwall.
