I'd love it if we did manage to get him in. I imagine the Lambert connection will help, as well as his having not left Norwich on the greatest of terms.

It'd be doubly laughable, given that they've just announced a Wes Hoolahan v Russell Martin 'legends' game for next summer. It's almost as if they've forgotten he once dubbed them a "f*cking sh*thouse of a club"...

Not saying Hoolahan per se, but we need our own Hoolahan and Holt.

I imagine Lambert's fully aware of that as his promotion team would never have got close without those two.

I agree with this. A 10 years younger Hoolahan equivalent rather than the man himself would be more ideal. I still think that Nolan could do a job with a bit more confidence and quality around him.

There is no way on this planet earth that Wes Hoolahan would pull on an ITFC shirt.

Not saying i wouldn't like him, he's a terrific player, would love him here, but it's not going to happen.

Yes and no - we're painfully bad all over the pitch.

An intelligent CM to make us tick would go a long way.

CF we're crying out for, plus surely a CB / maybe RB too.

No thanks, well past it and really not what we need.

Yes, I hope that Nolan really surprises us and we put the first part of his season down to the move and the difficulty the team had as a whole.

On current showing though, he doesn't have anything like the accuracy or control needed to make us tick in possession.

Bang on. RB and CB are required, plus a ball playing experienced CM, plus a strong frontman.

Are you sure? He was the first person I thought of when PL came in, but a cursory online search at the time suggested he was on a season long deal.

Staying up with Nodge "legends" would be sweet.

Remember we only have to be better than 3 clubs.

At 36, would rather not thanks. I really don't know if he would come here anyway.

Hmmm... We will probably need about 11 more wins (and some draws) so we actually need to be better (or luckier) than 11 clubs on the relevant days

He has an agreement with Nodge now for a long overdue testimonial....don’t think he will come anywhere near us !
