Forgot all about this one. Some great football from such a decimated Town side to end Liverpool's 23-match unbeaten run. Surely Mich D'Avray's finest hour!
Always good to be reminded how a team can have fantastic pace and energy, and on a much smaller squad, without the need of questionable ‘sport science’ which doesn’t seem to have benefitted the game at all. Also good to see Mills playing forward, such a brilliant all round player and captain who did more for Ipswich than any other player.

I think D'Avray's finest hour or at least his best game was when Alan Brazil scored his five against Southampton.D'Avray was involved in a few of them and deserved a goal or two himself that night.
