Swansea from West Midlands 17:58 - Oct 3 with 639 viewsgosblue

Toying with a trip to Swansea on Saturday (New ground for me) on a budget.
Rather than a 3 hour drive each way or around £70 on the train, I’ve found that if I drive to Knighton which is about an hour from me, I can get a train to Swansea for £17.60 return.
I still love the days out if not the football so much.
There is a replacement bus service from Shrewsbury to Knighton for £10.50 but the timings are very tight
Does anyone know of a better rail journey from Birmingham, Telford or Shrewsbury that’s not too expensive?

Drive to Ledbury or Ross on Wye or Monmouth and Guthrum and I will give you a lift from there

Cost to you....1 beer (each)

But I will buy you a beer back
